Hello everyone, it’s Mel and I’m still sick.
I went to the hospital today and apparently I have pneumonia. Man, great Christmas present! But, what can you do? Psh, I’ll get better.
I’m so hungry. I got a zero on my PE final (because I never took it) but still have an A in the class HAHA. Shows how much PE really matters in school when a child doesn’t even take the final and still passes the class.
Every Christmas Eve my family watches a Christmas movie together (the lights off and sound up), it’s a tradition. But this year my dad decides he can’t stand the dark. He comes in yelling, “At least we’re not watching another one of those movies with violence and it being all dark. I want to be able to see…I can’t see the TV when it’s so dark!”
There are many problems with that quote:
- “…with violence…” FUCK WHAT. Yesterday there was a Lord of the Rings marathon on (yes. I watched all 9 hours of it with commercials.) and he saw about 30 seconds of that and now assumes all we like are movies with violence. He didn’t even understand what was going on. And why is he talking about violence with all this disgust when all the movies he watches are in the country where everyone is on a horse with a gun shooting every person they see. EVERYBODY IS BEING SHOT. SAME CONCEPT (not really).
- “…it being all dark…” Movie effect man.
- “I can’t see the TV when it’s so dark!” Yeahno. When it’s not dark, that ruins the mood and makes the TV harder to see. When it is dark, the TV is the brightest light in the room; you can see it a mile away.
I don’t. I can’t. No. Just no.
P.S. Special thanks to Scarlett Light for nominating me for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award! Hopefully I’ll feel up to it and be able to write a post meeting the requirements.
